January 25th Women In Business at UC San Diego - Mission Possible

Join us for an afternoon of networking, learning, and dinner to further explore how women executives and leaders make the impossible, possible.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Mission Possible is UC San Diego Women in Business' 3rd annual conference—welcome to all majors, genders, and backgrounds—taking place on Saturday, January 25th from 12-3:00pm. The conference will focus on women executives and leaders in different business industries. The event will begin with a livestream workshop, followed by a speaker spotlight, and then finally transition into a panel where successful business leaders will share their experiences and accomplishments with guests. We will close the event with free dinner and an opportunity to network with professionals from the UCSD community as well as the larger San Diego community. Every attendee gets free raffle tickets to drop in boxes for a chance to win prizes!

ABOUT US

Women in Business was founded on the UC San Diego campus in October of 2016 to create a community where women could come together and grow as individuals. As we enter our fourth year on campus, we are continuing to rapidly expand as an organization, having doubled our member participation from last year. Our pillars of empowerment, growth, citizenship, and community remain core motivators in all of our organization’s planning to ensure that we foster character development and instill confidence in our members to help them thrive and leave their footprint in all segments of the business industry.

Stephanie Garcia

Stephanie Garcia is the founder of Captivate on Command™ and the host of Lights, Camera, Live® where she helps brands succeed on camera. As a Master Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Trainer, and ad agency veteran, Stephanie combines her marketing experience to help individuals communicate with confidence so they can ignite their ideas and be brilliant for prospects and customers alike. Named as one of the Top 50 Digital Marketing Thought Leaders by University of Missouri St. Louis, her work has been recognized and awarded by Forbes, Online Marketing Media And Advertising, PR Daily, Forrester, and Gartner 1to1 Media.

Stephanie is the co-author of the forthcoming book, The Ultimate Guide to Social Media, due out on bookshelves in August 2020 by Entrepreneur Press. She lives in San Diego, CA.
