If you miss using your favorite Snapchat filters, then you've come to the right place because I'm going to show you how you can get them back.

And don't worry, I'm not going to try and convince you to go back to Snapchat.

Listen, we're all on Instagram Stories, I get it PLUS the other 400 million daily users that post to Instagram Stories.

But if you're anything like me, you absolutely freaking loved Snapchat's filters.

So when I found out that you could use Snapchat filters on your desktop and in your livestreams, I had to tell you first!

Earlier this week, Snap announced and launched Snap Camera, a desktop app that can be integrated with YouTube, Skype, Twitch, and Zoom, allowing users to use Snapchat’s lenses while streaming or chatting to friends or family.

And get this, it's available on Mac and Windows

With lens creators adding more than 250,000 lenses to Snapchat's filter library, launching Snap Camera is a brilliant idea. Lenses have been viewed over 15 billion times and this launch allows Snapchat's AR functionality to be accessible to a wider audience.

So how do you use Snap Camera for live streaming? Let me show you.

How to Use Snap Camera for Facebook Live

Step 1. Download and install Snap Camera to your desktop.

You can download the Mac and Windows versions of Snap Camera here

Step 2. Open Snap Camera and connect your camera.

First click on the gear icon on the upper right, then select your camera under "Choose your camera."

You can choose to have your video flipped (I did) and promote your Snapcode as an overlay (I didn't).

Click "Back" to return to the main menu.

Note: By default, Flip Video Preview is enabled so that it behaves like you are looking into a mirror. Because of this, text found in Lenses will appear mirrored as well in the preview. That said, since the output video is not flipped, the text will appear correctly to viewers. You can always disable Flip Video Preview to see the non-flipped output video

Step 3. Choose your AR filter.

Scroll through thousands of lenses, check out the Featured Lenses, or search for a specific Lens.

Once you've found a lens, click on it to preview the effects.

Step 4. Choose Snap Camera as your camera input on your favorite live streaming platform.

On Facebook desktop, create a Live Video post then select "Snap Camera" from the camera input dropdown menu.

It's that easy!

Note: If Snap Camera doesn't work, try clearing your cache and restarting your browser.

How to Use Snap Camera on Skype

What if you want to use Snap Camera on Skype? That's easy too.

Under the Skype menu > Audio & Video Settings > Camera > Snap Camera

How to Use Snap Camera on Zoom

Want to try Snap Camera on Zoom? You can.

Go to the Zoom menu > Preferences > Video > Camera > Snap Camera

And I thought Zoom's Touch Up Appearance effect was amazing ;)

How to Use Snap Camera on Ecamm

You can't (yet). Unfortunately for some reason, Snap Camera freezes if you try to use it on Ecamm. Fortunately, after emailing the Ecamm team, Ken and Glen were able to release Ecamm Beta 9 that allows users to try out Snap Camera.

You can get access to Ecamm Beta v.9 by joining their exclusive Ecamm Live Beta Facebook Group

To activate in Ecamm Live Beta Snap Camera, go to Camera > Snap Camera.

Plus did you know that Ecamm Live Beta also has a green screen functionality?

I had a little fun pretending to be Wonder Woman and on the battlefield. Yay or nay?
